My First Half Wig!

This is my very first half wig! Say hello to Helene. I thought it would be a great idea to use half wigs as a protective style. Underneath my wig I have a plasic baggy on my ends(moisturised&sealed). I learned to apply my half wig from youtube. There are a bunch of tutorials there on  just about everything. I love it! Anyway I just wanted to share a pic with you all so you can see how it looks. Thanks to Adrianna Thomas a.k.a Adri. I learned a cool tip on how to add volume to the half wigs. I never wore them for that exact reason, because to me they have no volume, but you see there is a certain way to put your hair up so you can achieve that volume its very clever(more like DUH!) I must say and its very simple too : )

My Garnier Results

This is my hair after using garnier fructis length and strength, shampoo, and conditioner also their root booster spray. The products gave my hair alot of movement and its super soft and the smell is just great I love it. As u can see my bang is pretty decent to me seeing as though I never ever cut my own hair.... EVER! I was a little nervous when I started, but I said a prayer and it came out ok for me (THANK GOD!) Lol... anyhoo thats my take on garnier fructis I love it and I have other product reviews to share real soon so stay tuned! : )

Jamaican Black Castor Oil does wonders for my hair it makes it really soft although I have not seen growth length wise I do believe this stuff has thickened my hair very nicely and I have seen great results on my ends from using it as a seal for when I baggy. So in my opinion its a keeper the smell is not the best. Smells like ash. Nothing annoying though because it goes away fast.

Reggie Update!

OK!

I have been gone for a minute, so forgive me I have been faithful with my regimen and alot is going on. I changed a few things I am now hooked on garnier Fructis Length and Strength shampoo, and conditioner. I love it! It smells great and my hair is super soft! I did a pree-poo with coconut oil, I platted my hair and shampooed the crown and glory way (just to try it). I did not air dry my hair this time.... I blow dried it, and I flat ironed my hair ONLY! Bcause I plan to do this once a month so I can stretch my relaxer as much as I can. Im still usin the baggy method for my ends im also waiting for my Garnier fructis split ends treatment I ordered from amazon and I have heard alot of great reviews this product is no longer in stores and there are quite a few people who are upset about that because they love the treatment. So ... Like the product junkie I am : ) I bought 4 just incase it's any good. If its not for me I will give it to whom ever wants it... Anyway.... After blow drying my hair I used garnier's root booster serum to flat iron my hair and it gave my wrap so much BODY! It moves and everything! Oh! and Before I forget I also cut a side swept bang its not professional but its decent to wear I actually clipped my own hair.... Thats a big deal for me because scissors are my enemy and I am not a huge fan on cutting hair I love hair and its health too much to just up and cut it. Unless it is absolutely necessary. Other than that no way! So I just had to share that with you all. I will post pics of my wrap as of right now its 3:24am I am already prepared for bed but as soon as I comb it down tomorrow I will post the pics as "My Garnier Results" As for now I am off to bed later! : )

Crown and Glory Technique

This is where it all began I found this site sometime in 2002 I believe, and it has helped me stumble upon so much more than the basic hair care regimen. The Crown and Glory Technique takes dedication but trust me it is well worth it, and thanks to them I have found the baggy method which lead me to BHM and Fotki. I think this is great for just about every beginner rather you want length or just a head full of healthy hair. Rather youre relaxed or all natural. Take a look for yourself : )

New Growth

Well it has been officially one full week since using my Mn2% and Mega Tek mix and my roots have thickened up pretty nicely I will post another update at the end of this week so I can compare growth. I plan to do this for three more weeks. Then I will perm my hair, flat iron, and do a length check with my starting pic. I have been following my regimen perfectly and so far so good wish me luck! How You Dooin?!

There is alot of buzz on Wendy Williams and her so called "tacky" show, but I like it. I like Wendy, her show, and most importantly I loooooove her wigs she's real, down to earth, and she's herself raw and uncut, if you've noticed Wendy really doesn't hold anything back and I appreciate her for that. For being 100% thats just the kinda girl she is! (rubbing my teeth like Wendy)Lol! How you dooin??? : )

My Hair Regimen

*TUESDAY'S I.......Baggy my hair at night using Qp mango butter, and I like to seal with either Emu oil, or Jamaican black castor oil. There my two favorites and they have really thicken up my hair over time.

*WEDNESDAY'S I.......Wash my hair with Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner, and I always air dry Im a fan of flat ironing, so if I air dry I eliminate some heat.

*SATURDAY'S I.......
Baggy again at night.

*SUNDAY'S I........
Co wash meaning I use my conditioner as if it were a shampoo I do this using mane and tail herbal grow conditioner or with mega tek

ON MY BUSY DAYS (MON,THUR,and FRI) I.......Section my hair before going to bed and I seal my ends using Wave Nouveau moisturizing finishing lotion and castor oil

AND.......Every night since 11/1/10 I have been greasing my scalp with my MN2% and Mega Tek mixed with emu oil.

Baggie Method on My Baby

Lol! Awwww.... Look at that face ha!ha! I decided to try the baggie method on my little boy I used QP mango Butter and hydratherma natruals Emu oil. It was hard to keep his distractions from the shower cap. Smh, but I managed to leave it on for a full hour. The trick was to feed him, which lead him to getting sleepy : ) Anyway It came out nice and smelled reeeeeeaaallllyyyyy good. But! It dried up super fast his hair soaks up everything. I use these same products on my hair, and they work perfectly, but his hair is just too THICK! And who soaks up butter? Mango butter at that? I want to try to use another moisturizer I was thinking of using S-Curl..... Any suggestions?

My Son's Hair

Just thought I would share with you my sons hair he's 10 months with a head full of challenging hair : / this was just after washing and detangling his hair. I put them in pony tails just to section it so it doesnt get tangled again its easier this way for me. I love this little dude he's the next best thing to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He is my everything. Mommy loves me some you! MUAH!!!!

I too Love my Hair! This is a beautiful message especially for younger kids. When I was growing up I was often teased on the way my hair was compared to others because I wore a (cough!) curly perm lol but I loved my hair minus the drippage : )It was beautiful to me often other people just dont see it this way this video lets our youth know that our hair is just as beautiful no matter what race healthy hair is beautiful!

Ok so as you can see this is my current hair length thats about if not almost SL ill explain what that means in the UHS Short Term Key later. My current growth aide is MN2% mixed with Mega Tek I started Monday 11/1/10  im greasing my scalp every night and I can really see the difference trust me it works. MN2% is found in Monistsat..... yeah I said it Monistat : / lol yes its "you know what" cream : / but it clears the pores on your scalp from fungus which allows your new hair to thrive which in result leads to hair growth. Mega Tek was originally created for humans but is mainly used on horses..... yes... Horses. lol the human version is called Ovation Cell Therapy the same company makes the same stuff and strangely the product for humans is way more expensive but its the same product. I dont know about you but the horses products will do just fine. Anyway my purpose for using this mix is to hopefully get back to APL thats ArmPittLength so right where the crease of my arm pit begins is where I would like my hair to be SL is shoulder length which is where my shoulder begins Below I put all the ones that I can remember so bare with me if you know another one please feel free to add it in your comment.
